The shooting of Captain America: Brave New World, in which Anthony Mackie took over the role of Captain America, was actually completed in the summer of 2023. However, when the film received extremely low scores in its first test screenings, Marvel stepped in and requested changes to the script and a return to the set for extensive additional shooting. As a matter of fact, it happened. While the movie, which would normally be released this summer, was moved to 2025, the film crew returned to the set and long additional shooting took place. However, it seems that these additional shots were not enough to save the film. Because it is said that Captain America: Brave New World fell below expectations in the new test screening that took place recently.
Daniel Richtman, one of the important sources of information within Hollywood, says that the film received low scores again and that he will return to the set once again. This time the additional shooting may not be as comprehensive as the previous one, but something will change in the movie again. This is not good news for a movie that will be released in about 2.5 months.
Julius Onah, known for films such as The Cloverfield Paradox and Luce, is the director of the new Captain America movie. The cast includes Anthony Mackie, Harrison Ford, Liv Tyler, Tim Blake Nelson, Danny Ramirez and Carl Lumbly. Below you can find the last trailer of the movie, which was released about two weeks ago.
