8 Of The NCT Members’ Best K-Drama OSTs So Far That Gave Us Goosebumps

NCT is a K-Pop group known for having some of the best collective vocals (especially live vocals) in K-Pop. The members all have unique vocal tones that set the hearts of their fans ablaze with their distinct warmth. Aside from their own music, the members are also some of the most sought-after idols when it comes to K-Drama OSTs. So, we needed to take a moment to appreciate some of the NCT members’ best K-Drama OSTs so far.

Here is a list of some of the NCT members’ K-Drama OSTs that we’ve really enjoyed so far.

Note: This list is not a ranking. It is in no particular order.

This is the kind of OST that makes K-Drama lovers stop everything they’re doing to Shazam or search for it. Just like the drama, it embodies youthfulness and TaeIl’s vocal tone fills the song with a romantic sentiment that is hard to mimic. Not only does it show off his perfect vocal technique but it melts the ears and heart, too.

DoYoung’s superior storytelling skills really shine in this OST. He not only tells you the story as he sings but makes you feel like the main character in it. His melodic vocals transport you to another world that is bittersweet (like the song) but the honey undertone of his vocals is ever-present.

3. NCT U (JaeHyun & TaeIl) – ‘New Dream’ for “Dokgo Rewind”

This is the type of OST that plays through your headphones as you walk with your shoulders that little bit higher whilst going through the ins and outs of life. It is a badass track with powerful upbeat vocals from both JaeHyun and TaeIl. Their vocals also create perfect harmonies throughout the song.

4. NCT’s TaeIl – ‘Lovey Dovey’ for “Love to Hate You”

TaeIl’s ‘Lovey Dovey’ OST is the type of feel-good music that you listen to whilst driving on a road trip, surrounded by some sunny scenery, with the windows rolled down and the wind in your hair. The song sounds like a dose of happiness and highlights the never-fading warmth that TaeIl’s voice is famous for.

5. NCT’s DoYoung – ‘Like a Star’ for “Yumi’s Cells”

DoYoung’s dreamy vocals really show off in this OST. Not only do his vocals personify longing in the song, but his knack for making emotions rise with his skillful singing adds to the wistful feeling this OST inspires.

6. NCT U (DoYoung & Mark) – ‘Baby Only You’ for “The Tale of Nokdu”

DoYoung and Mark created a high-teen soundbite of bliss with this OST. It’s the perfect song to bob your head to when you need to lift your spirits. DoYoung’s sweet vocals and Mark’s groovy rap also create the perfect musical balance.

7. NCT’s HaeChan – ‘Good Person’ for “Friends”

HaeChan’s OST was filled with a warmth that resembles sitting in front of a cozy fire on a cold winter day. Fans especially loved this OST as it was his first one and it meant a lot to be able to listen to him in a solo capacity. We hope to hear another one soon!

The mix of Punch’s harmonious melodies and TaeYong’s rhythmic rap are perfect for the heart-fluttering feeling that this OST track gives you. His storytelling and flow really make the song the highlight to your day.
