If you have not watched the original Taiwanese drama, we highly recommend you do. In the meantime, while you wait for “A Time Called You”, here’s a little heads up about three things you need to be ready for before watching the K-Drama.

Minor Spoilers Ahead!

1. Heartbreak, lots of it

Netflix

“A Time Called You” is a story about love – selfless, endless, transcendent love in more forms than one. We have romantic love, platonic love, self-love, and so much more. Yet, with all this love, there will inevitably be heartbreak, especially when we have a second lead to die for. You’ll witness the relentless efforts of our characters as they try to hold on to their loved ones, protect them, and be with them no matter what, and every time, destiny will have other plans, tearing them apart. This K-Drama will rip your heart into a million pieces and gently put them back together again. So, make sure to have a tissue box by your side.

2. Time slip science, keep a notebook at hand

3 Things You Need To Be Ready For Before

Netflix

“Someday Or One Day” is a fantasy romance drama. It relies heavily on time travel and, by extension, time loops, timeline splits, resets, and so on. In addition, transmigration or soul swap is a key concept driving the action forward. Naturally, memory is also affected by these events, which serves as a major plot point. While the show’s logic may sound quite complicated, you can rest assured because the story is incredibly well-written, with a tight-knit narrative that might not be linear but makes excellent sense. The only drawback is that you might have to sit down with pen and paper at hand to chalk out and keep track of the sequence of events, but trust us, it will be worth it. As a remake, we’re expecting “A Time Called You” to be equally complex, if not more.

3. OST, get ready for it to live in your mind rent-free

If the trailers are anything to go by, “A Time Called You” is going to have a stellar OST. However, that is not the only reason why it is important. Music is an incredibly crucial and arguably one of the most important elements of the plot. It is the beginning and the end of all things. It defines the show and carries the essence of the same. So, expectations are sky-high for the soundtrack of “A Time Called You”. However, with artists like NewJeans on the OST lineup, we already know it is going to be a magical masterpiece.

While you wait, you can listen to the Taiwanese OST here.
