Valve is determined entirely by community voting on Steam. Steam Awards 2024 announced the full list of winners. There were 11 award categories for the 2024 Steam Awards. Prize winners include Steam games that are on sale during the Steam Winter Sale.

Cast Steam Awards 2024Voted for their favorite games to win top prizes on . Voting runs from December 19 to December 31, including the Game of the Year award In 11 different award categories lasted.

Black Myth: Wukongwas awarded the Steam Awards 2024 Game of the Year award, while Metro Awakening was awarded the VR Game of the Year award. Black Myth: Wukong also won awards for Best Game You’re Bad and Outstanding Story Rich Game, making it the Steam Awards’ top winner with three awards this year. FromSoftware’s ever-popular Elden Ring won the Carry On With Love award, with fans identifying the game as receiving outstanding post-launch support with this year’s Shadow of the Erdtree expansion. PlayStation’s God of War Ragnarok won the Best Game on Steam Deck award, while Arrowhead Game Studios’ Helldivers 2 won PlayStation’s second award, the More Fun with Friends award.
